Please join us on Wednesday, December 11th, for Docomomo US/WEWA’s Holiday Party & Annual Meeting at Ivar’s Salmon House | Lake Union. Ivar Haglund opened the Salmon House Restaurant at the north end of Lake Union in 1969. The building was designed by the architecture firm, Peterson and Adams. Ivar’s Salmon House has been an iconic gathering place for Seattleites for 55 years, a true mid-century landmark.
Bring your good cheer and celebrate Modernism with us! The event is FREE. Enjoy appetizers on us. No-host bar.
Around 6:00 pm, we’ll hold a brief Annual Meeting to take care of a couple Board business items and provide updates on WEWA activities.
Due to limited space, we’re asking for RSVPs. Please email us at [email protected] by December 2nd and let us know you’re coming and if you’re bringing guests.
Upon arrival, check in at the host stand and tell them you’re there for a private party (Docomomo WEWA) in the Nooksack room (located in the back). Free parking available on the street or in Ivar’s parking lot across the street from the Salmon House.
